LUCAS, Barbara J. – of Davison, age 59 died Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Barbara at 11:00 AM Friday, January 5, 2018 at Saints Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 1-8 PM and at the church on Friday from 10 AM until time of Mass at 11 AM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Relay for Life in Genesee County.
Barbara was born November 17, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to Edward and Glenna (Boroff) Kusky. She was raised in the Clio area and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1976. On June 30, 2001 she married Dennis James Lucas. Barbara was employed by Meijer’s in Birch Run. She always liked to participate in the Relay for Life for Genesee County. Barbara enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and taking care of people.
Surviving are: Husband, Dennis; Son: Greg Kusky; Mother: Glenna Kusky; Sisters: Sue (Rick) Bully, Sharon Kusky, Karen (Bruce) Ferguson, Judy (Bob) Borchard; Brothers: Ed Kusky, Bill (Connie) Kusky; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to all their friends at Old Orchard. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Kusky.
