Crossnoe, James Dee “Jim” – Of Chesterfield, formerly of Flint, age 62, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017,
Services will be held 11:30 am, Monday, February 27, 2017 at QA Cantrell Funeral Home, 22121 Kelly Road, Eastpointe, Michigan with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2-6pm and 11am Monday prior to the service at 11:30 at the funeral home.
Jim was born in Flint on June 4, 1954, the son of Brown and Barbara (Mogg) Crossnoe. Jim retired from General Motors with 30 years, where he worked production, was a committee man and V.P. of his Union. He also was a volunteer fireman in Mt. Morris. Jim’s passions in life were bowling, fishing, hunting, camping and especially a good poker game.
Jim is survived by his wife, Emily;
Children, Lanee Boone and Bobbi (Andre) Nicks of Flint, Maggie (Dennis) Yager of Kansas; David Fenner of Eastpointe, Donald Fenner of Roseville and Kristen Fenner of Chesterfield;
sister, Beth (Norm) Vargo of Davison;
brother, David (Bonnie) Crossnoe of Grand Blanc;
and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved very much.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother Marvin Dale Crossnoe.
Jim will always be remembered as a fun-loving guy, always making others laugh and enjoying life to the fullest. We all knew Jim never knew a stranger; he will be missed.
