MCWILLIAMS, Irene L. - Of Flint, age 94, died Monday, May 21, 2018
at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 1pm Friday, May 25, 2018 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 West Court Street, Flint, Reverend Jeremy Peters officiating.
Burial of cremains in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Court Street United Methodist Church.
Irene was born in Cassopolis, Michigan on September 29, 1923, the daughter of Albert and Pearl Alldredge. On August 2, 1943, she married Robert L. McWilliams in Flint and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1979.
Irene was an Avon Representative for 40 years. She was also PTA President of Stevenson Elementary in Flint, a member of Court Street United Methodist Church, with her husband, and were founding members of the Aldersgate Class.
She was a member of Eastern Star Pilgrim 447 OES, where she held the office of Worthy Matron for several years.
She was also a Bethel Guardian of Jobs Daughters Bethel #4 Flint.
Surviving are children, Leota McWilliams, Keith (Carol) McWilliams, Carol Driskill and Joanne McWilliams;
grandchildren, Nicholas Driskill, Emily Vergin, Scott Vergin, Kate Vergin and Bonnie Vergin.
