THACKER, Vivian M. - Of Flint, age 95, died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint,
Pastor Mark Pretznow officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Lamb of God Lutheran Church.
Visitation 4-8pm Sunday, 1-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the service.
Vivian was born in Flint, Michigan on September 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Ebert) Eberline. On March 2, 1946, she married Robert C. Thacker at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Flint.
Surviving are children, Robert M. (Sharon) Thacker, Janet Lawrence, Judy (Jim Simons) Thacker, Lori (Dale) Norrington;
Son-in-law, Kurt Nelson;
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
And nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1977, daughter, Diane Nelson, son-in-law, Kenneth Lawrence, and brothers, William and Leo Eberline.
