LAWSON, Clayton Jr. – of Clio, age 69, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Mark Boyce officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 4-7 PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to United Cerebral Palsy Association.
Clayton was born February 27, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to the late Horace and Kate (Ripper) Lawson Sr. He grew up in the Flushing area and attended Flushing Public Schools. Clayton enjoyed being on facebook with his lap top computer. He live at Maple Woods Manor for 22 years and considered all the staff their his family
Surviving are: Cousins, Laurie (Scott) Schmidt, Michael Smith, Lynell (Ray) Andreotti; Favorite cousin Scotty Schmidt, Nick Schmidt, Tommy Schmidt; Special Friends, Sue Tarkowski, Janet Terwilliger. He was preceded in death by his parents, love of his life, Charlotte; Aunt Mid Mitchell; Cousin, Charles Smith.
