Susan "Sue" Margaret Farro

Born: 7/18/1952
Died: 12/3/2021
Age: 69
Community: Davison, MI

Susan (“Sue”) Margaret Forro, age 69 of Davison, MI peacefully passed away on Friday
December 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She was born July 18, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI to Richard & Jean Bauer.
She married her highschool sweetheart, Jim Forro at St. John’s Catholic Church in Davison MI
on September 19, 1975. She had 46 years of blessed and loving marriage that allowed her to
skip purgatory and go straight to heaven because of Jim.
She was the loving mother to Kristin (Brian) Dunaway of Lapeer, MI and Gabriel (Sandra) Forro
of North Branch, MI. She was an adored Grandma to Austin, Hunter, Lucas, Lydia and the
latest apple of her eye, Colton who is 18 months old.
She was a cherished Sister to Mary (Ed) Francis and Laurie (Don) Garant. She was additionally
loved by her Sister in Laws, Martha Irish, Mary (Chris) Forro and Nancy (Tim) Cresswell. She
was equally loved by her Brother in Law, Eugene Forro (also known as “Captain Chaos”
because he always brought the fun and craziness).
She was a loved Aunt to Everett, Katy, DJ, Mary Ellen and Jen. She was blessed to have
enjoyed her years with so many special friends that were near and dear to her heart. Even if
she hadn’t seen them or spoken to them recently, please know you all held a special place in
her heart; her home and family’s memories included you all.
Sue was a St. John Catholic school attendee and Davison High School graduate of 1970. She
then pursued her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Central Michigan
University (Go Chips!). She left the workforce to raise her two children, which she revered as
her most cherished role. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends. She loved to read,
bake, do needlework, paint ceramics and many other crafts throughout her years. Her home
contains so many items of her own handiwork. Her home was filled with love, her treasured
collectables and her never-ending collection of angels (93 and we’re still counting). She loved to
laugh at the stories of her children and grandchildren with their hunting and exploring
shenanigans and their tall tales about the 80 acre woods behind her home. Her faith was of
utmost importance to her; she was a faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church and
volunteered in various committees throughout her entire adulthood life. She will be greatly
missed, our hearts are especially broken at her quickly advanced cancer but we are sure she
felt everyone's love. A special thank you to Hurley Medical Center ER nurses Carol and Jill.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Medical Team, whose swift hospice care
service helped us get her home and comfortable quickly.
