MESSINA, Frank Joseph - Age 27, of Linden, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Funeral Mass will be held 1:30 PM, Monday June 26, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Saturday, and 1-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and at the church 1 PM until time of mass Monday. Contributions may be made to the Frank J. Messina Memorial Fund to be used for charity.
Frank was born April 17, 1990 in Flint, the son of Janice M. (Boettge) Messina and Frank A. Messina who preceded his son in death October 4, 2006. Frank was a graduate of Lake Fenton High School in 2008. He was a lifetime resident of the Linden/Fenton area. Frank was a member of Local 514 Brick Layers and Operative Plasterer's and Cement Masons.
Surviving are: mother, Janice of Linden; brother, Anthony J. Messina of Swartz Creek; sister, Angela M. Messina of Linden; grandparents, Fred J. and Sharon K. Boettge of Linden; girlfriend, Natalie Sanders of Wixom; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends.
