Morris, Craig Lynn "Duff" - Age 71, of Fenton, died October 21, 2020 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon Tuesday, October 27 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of the mass at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. In lieu of flowers, Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Priest for Life (a Pro-life organization). Details for a memorial car show will be announced in the Spring.
Craig was born April 15, 1949 in Flint the son of Samuel Oscar Morris and Martha Jane (Dehner) Morris. He married Veronica A. Durish on October 4, 1969 in Flint. He retired from General Motors - Flint Engine with 39 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a member of The Fireplace Monday Night Car Cruisers. Duff loved his Hotrods and building them, fishing and tying flies, and the family vacations. Surviving are: his wife of 51 years, Veronica; son Mark (Jennifer) Morris; daughter Tonya (Michael) Sundermann; daughter-in-law, Karen Morris; grand-children, Tyler Morris (Hannah Sanderson), Maddy (Josh) Raymo, Travis Morris (Jordan Edwards), Evan Sundermann (Gracie Emerson), Ryan Sundermann, Calvin Morris, Nina Sundermann; sister, Sally (Michael) Gardner; many dear friends and neighbors that have continually shown their support over the past two years. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Trevor Morris; and son Jeff Morris. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
