Siegel, Richard N., Sr. – of Clio, age 65, died Sunday, December 3, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 7, 2017, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 PM and Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the service at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Richard was born June 10, 1952, in Flint, Michigan to the late Julius and Dorothy (Mushlock) Siegel. He had resided in Clio since 2002, coming from Montrose. Richard graduated from Hamady High School. He married Carole Walker on August 21, 1976. He retired from Buick Motor Division in 2005 with 30 years of service. Richard was also a member of UAW Local 599. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin, fishing, hunting, boating, 4 – wheeling and the great outdoors. He especially loved spending time with the highlight of his life, his granddaughter, Emma.
Surviving are: Wife, Carole; 2 children: Christina (Steven) Taylor of Grand Blanc and Richie Siegel of Clio; Granddaughter, Emma Grace Taylor; Siblings: Carol Ann Siegel, Bill Siegel, Pat Siegel, Mike (Sue) Siegel, Anne Siegel, and John Siegel.
