Gagnon, Henry J. – of Clio, age 89, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. No services at this time.
Henry was born March 29, 1935, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Henry and Anna (Rys) Gagnon. He was a devoted husband to his wife Marlene, whom he married in October 1953. Henry led a fulfilling life working as a dedicated millwright at General Motors for many years. In the 1990s, he served as a trustee for the Eagles, finding joy in spending time at the Clio branch. His true passion was tending to his beautiful yard, meticulously caring for it until it resembled a golf course, which he took pride in. An incorrigible jokester, Henry's wit and humor never failed to bring smiles to those around him, keeping everyone on their toes with his playful banter. His warm and jovial nature endeared him to many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Surviving are: Loving wife, Marlene Gagnon; Children: Bob (Denise) Gagnon, Dave (Lisa) Gagnon, Cindy Gagnon, Debbie Gagnon, and Eric Gagnon; He was blessed with several grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; Sister, Betty Vorocheck; and loving dog, Disel.
