REYNOLDS, Howard – of Davison, age 93, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Americana Senior Living of Davison. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Davison Free Methodist Church, 502 Church Street, Davison, MI, 48423; Pastor Shane Bengry and Pastor John Vannest co-officiating. Interment with Military Honors will take place following the service in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.
Howard was born in Dearborn, Michigan on July 1, 1932, son of the late Bert and Geraldine (Walker) Reynolds. He proudly served his country with the US Army with the 101st Airborne unit (Screaming Eagles). During his deployment he met and eventually married Elisabeth Wolfarth on April 18, 1955, in Germany, she preceded him in death. Howard was a faithful member at Davison Free Methodist Church since 1958 and a Sunday school teacher for many years. He worked and retired from General Motors as an automatic screw machine operator. In his spare time, Howard volunteered to work as mechanic in the bus ministry at the church. He also served as Boy Scout leader at the church for many years. Howard was an avid reader. He found joy in being outdoors. Some of the things he enjoyed in nature was gardening, bird watching, camping, and especially hunting. Throughout his lifetime, he enjoyed traveling the United States and abroad. Howard loved exploring genealogy and his family history. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family.
Howard is survived by children, Sandra (Ed) Stevenson, Walt (Cherie) Reynolds, Bert (Gayann) Reynolds, Paul (Kristy) Reynolds; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, Howard was preceded in death by a son, Ulrich Reynolds; 4 siblings, Janet, Naomi, Evelyn, and Bruce.
