FERRIS, Wanda L. – Of Clio, age 72, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Hershall Clark officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation.
Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Wanda was born in Missouri on May 13, 1942, daughter of the late Leonard and Eva (Redding) Cavness.
On September 23, 1961 she married Ronald L. Sr. in Flint.
She loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are husband, Ronald Sr.;
children, Ron Jr., Vicki and husband Doug Stone, Keith and wife Nicci Ferris;
grandchildren, Ronald III and wife Ashley Ferris,
Jason and wife Caroline Ferris,
Justin Williams, James Reda, Douglas Stone Jr., Alicia Ferris, Kirsten Ferris and Tyler Ferris;
great-grandchildren, Dakota, Abby, Zachary, Zoey and Haven;
brother, Berley Cavness;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Leonard Samson, William and Kenneth Cavness; sisters, Clara Cavness and Shirley Long.
