ROUSE, Robert W. - Of Durand, age 71, died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his residence.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held with full military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Robert was born in Byron, Michigan on March 13, 1949, the son of the late L.D. and Delia (Law) Rouse. Robert served in the United States Army from 1968-1970, serving two tours in the Vietnam War. He was a very proud Vietnam War Veteran. He retired from the Canadian National Railroad after many years. Robert’s favorite thing to do was spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid hockey fan.
Surviving are daughter, Rachel (Gregory) Remington;
son, William (Lori) Rouse;
grandchildren, Chase and Rylee Remington and Alexander and Alaina Rouse;
sister, Rebecca Rouse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.D. and Delia Rouse.
