Mable L Perry
Age 79 of Corunna passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Oliver Woods Retirement Village.
Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, January 22, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Strawser officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.
Mable was born March 30, 1938 in Mt Morris, the daughter of Harris and Jean (Philpott) Merrill.
She graduated from Corunna High School and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Job's Daughter's International.
Mable enjoyed crafts, sewing, playing card games and looked forward to chorus singing on the Showboat in Chesaning.
She was married to Donald Walker until 1970, marrying George "Art" Spalding Jr. until his death in 1980 and Ronald Perry until his death in 2014.
Mable was a homemaker and loved raising and caring for her family her whole life.
She is survived by her children Donald "Bud" (Ella) Walker, Karen (Michael) Marrah, Dennis Walker, Jeanne Cole, Katherine (Karl) Kimmerer and Paul (Barbara) Walker; step-children Sally (Ed) Rhyndress, Penny (Ron) Bacon, Amy Cole, Ronald R. (Ann) Perry Jr., Randall Perry and Rick (Jen) Perry; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters Joy Parker and twin sister Margaret Sims; several other loving family and friends and her beloved cat Betsy.
She was predeceased by her parents; son David Walker; sisters Lola Earle and Judith Seeley.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of donor's choice.
