ELDRED, Betty J. - of Flint, age 91, passed away December 18, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 22, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Edward Norton officiating. Entombment will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday and 10-11 AM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Betty was born in Oakwood, Missouri on May 4, 1923, daughter of the late Stanley and Flora (McGee) Huss. She married Rollo Eldred on August 6, 1982 and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2014. Betty retired from GM – Coldwater Road Plant. She enjoyed playing Class A softball and bowling.
Betty is survived by her children, Arthur Lucas and Donna (David) Matejcek; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Jean (Larry) Gatz; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Jim and Denny Huss.
