MCNEAL, Janice Marie – of Clio, age 78, died Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Honoring Janice’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
Janice was born February 14, 1948, to the late Arnold and Doris (Woodard) Munsell. She grew up in Clio, Michigan and attended Clio High School. On July 9th, 1965, she married her beloved husband Charles McNeal and together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on September 22, 2026. Janice enjoyed camping, craft shows, making jewelry, and painting. She loved being a part of the Granny Grunts, doing skits where she played Louise with her best friend of 70 years Dianne Blakely. Nothing, however, compared to the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Janice was so excited when she finally became a great grandma
Surviving are: Daughters, Tina (Joe) LeClaire and Michele (Bill) Burger; Grandchildren, Austin (Jordan) Slemp, Billy Burger, Brenden Burger, Matthew Burger, Luke LeClaire, and Melissa Burger; Great Granddaughter, Hadley Slemp; Brother and Sister-in-law Robert and Susan McNeal, Sister-in-law Barbara McCallon; many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Charles McNeal; Son, Michael McNeal and Brother-in-law Duane McCallon; Brother, Allen Munsell; Father and Mother-in-law, Charles and Agnes McNeal.
