Nancy Ann Luft, age 92 of Owosso passed away at her home at The Meadows on February 14, 2026.



A time of visitation will be held at Nelson-House Funeral Home from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Per Nancy's wishes, there will be no service. Burial will take place at West New Haven Cemetery at 10 am on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, where she will be placed next to her beloved husband, Roy, who passed away in December 2016.



Mrs. Luft was born August 22, 1933, in Oakland County, Michigan, to Burton L. and Grace P. (Frankford) Frezon. She attended grade schools in Royal Oak and Detroit before moving to Owosso with her family in 1945. She was a 1951 graduate of Owosso High School.



After completing high school, she was employed by the Shiawassee County Probate Court and then worked in the Personnel Department of Redmond's and Midland-Ross Corporation. In 1972 she joined The Owosso Savings Bank (now Fifth Third Bank) from which she retired as Executive Secretary to the President in 1995.



On April 17, 1993 she was married to Ray A. Luft. She loved flower gardening and enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and occasional jaunts to the casinos. Since 1995, she, along with her husband until his death, spent summers in Owosso and winters in Apache Junction, AZ. Nancy continued spending the winters in AZ after her husband's death until 2024. She was baptized at age 18 in The First Methodist Church and remained a member of that church for many years until she began attending The First Church of Christ, her husband's church.



She is survived by two sons, Phillip (Susan) Jenkinson of Owosso and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Jenkinson of White Lake, and two step-children, Richard Luft of Owosso and DiAnn Boardman of Lehigh Acres, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Bailey (Richard Conn) Jenkinson of Perry; Samantha (Ken Ryan) Dougherty of Rockford, Heidi (Dustin) Bailey of Stafford, VA, Carissa (Nate Saldana) Sanders of Waterford, and Jennell Rowe of Flint, two step grandchildren, Katie (Travis) Uecker of Sioux Falls, SD, Ben (Julia) Snyders of Salem, SD, and 18 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Doris (Bernard) Tunney of Saginaw, many nieces and nephews and very dear friends, Joni Mars of Owosso and Leona Howard of Fruitvale, BC, Canada.



She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, a sister, an infant son, Eric Jenkinson and the father of her children, S. E. Jenkinson.



Memorials are suggested to The Salvation Army.
