Dawn Marie Haughey met her Savior on April 9, 2024. She was born on July 31,1954 to Jacob Bernard and Joyce Marie Stolz.
Dawn graduated from Lakeville High School in 1972. She worked for many years in the Genesee County Court System as a secretary/court recorder. After her retirement from the court system, she worked for several years as an executive secretary in the Flint Public School System. Dawn was highly respected in all of her professional roles.
Dawn was thoughtful and generous. She loved her family and friends dearly. Dawn was an avid Tigers fan and was even known to travel to Lakeland for Tiger’s training camp. She was very interested in genealogy and spent many hours researching and sharing stories. She loved the freighters that sailed the Great Lakes and would often drive to locations to spot them. She loved to craft and make gifts for others.
Dawn is survived by her sister-in-law, Sharon Stolz, many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ron and Tom, nephews Ronnie Stolz and Frank Licavoli.
Dawn will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville. |
