CHISHOLM, Dennis D. 0f Flushing, age 76, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Mr. Scott Snyder officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dennis was born in Flint, Michigan on June 24, 1942, the son of Lloyd and Mildred Chisholm.
Mr. Chisholm was employed for 40+ years in education at Summit Middle School in Beecher, Flint Northern High School and Montrose High School. He taught machine shop and drafting. He was a school administrator, coach, special educator, Driver’s Ed teacher, and was a sports car enthusiast.
Surviving are children, Christine (Richard) Nymeyer,
Derek Chisholm and Kelly Chisholm;
grandchildren, Andrew Nymeyer, Gabriel Nymeyer, Seth Nymeyer, Elizabeth Nymeyer, Joseph Nymeyer, Jack Chisholm, Stuart Chisholm, Paige Chisholm and Chase Chisholm;
brother, Gary (Mary Ann) Chisholm; three nieces and nephews.
