JORDAN, Shirley – of Davison, age 90, passed away on April 23, 2025. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be from 2-6 PM Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Sherman’s Lounge, 4211 Fenton Rd. Flint, MI 48507. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in memory of Shirley.
Shirley was born in Flint, MI on February 8, 1935, daughter of the late Stephen and Evelyn (Tabit) Bates. She married Leonard Jordan and he preceded her in death on October 21, 2019. Shirley was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed going to the casino.
Shirley is survived by her children, Maurice D. Comerford, Cathy Newell, Laura (Russell) Angel, Jeanette (Theodore) McMurray, Joyce Hitsman and John Comerford; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister’s, Bessie (Russell) and Nancy Jones; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by son, Stephen Comerford, daughter, Teresa Bates and grandson, Eric Comerford.
