Wager, Luren Michael – of Clio, age 49, died Saturday, July 30, 2016, as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Trinity Assembly of God – 4363 W. Mt. Morris Rd. in Mt. Morris. Pastor Aaron Burton officiating. Private burial to follow at Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 1-8 PM and at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for an educational fund or to the Clio Fire Department.
Mike was born February 26, 1967, in Flint, Michigan to Luren and Nina (Panek) Wager. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1985. Mike had resided in Clio for the past 17 years, coming from Mt. Morris. He married Amy Edgerton on January 17, 2015. Mike was employed as a mortgage broker at Simple Mortgage in Flint and was a member of the Mt. Morris Community Church. He was also an eight-year member of the Clio Fire Dept. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and farming.
Surviving are: Wife, Amy; Children: Molly Dallaire, Micah Wager, Jim Kiefer, Lane Kiefer, and Chase Kiefer; Parents: Luren and Nina Wager; Grandson, Noah; Sister, Lisa Wager-Chatlain and Roy Rodgers; Nieces: Lindsey Butka, Elaine and Joy Chatlain. Uncle Carl and Aunt Marie Thompson. Many cousins, and a special cousin and friend, Kerry Paulson; Mike also leaves behind his beloved brothers and sisters at the Clio Fire Dept.
