BEEBE, Doris Jean - age 93 of Swartz Creek, died June 23, 2023. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday, June 30, 2023, at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Rev. Dan Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. Doris was born December 14, 1929, in Pontiac, the daughter of Andrew and Sarah "Sadie" (Callow) Stimer. She was a graduate of Hurley Nursing School and worked in Labor and Delivery. Later, she became an instructor with Mott Foundation Children's Health Services. Doris was a very strong, confident and caring woman. She returned to bedside nursing at McLaren and later worked her way to Nursing Director of Women's Health at McLaren. She married William Beebe, Jr. in 1981 and he preceded her in death in 1999. Doris continued at McLaren after retirement as a volunteer in the surgical waiting room up until the Covid pandemic. Surviving are: son, Randall Geoffrey Khodayar Denison and wife, Azar Asgari; grandchildren, Matthew and Joseph Denison and Ali Askari; stepchildren, Denise (William) Klingbeil, Debbie (Randy) Bullock, Bob (Cheryl) Beebe; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Beebe, Jr.; brother, Duane Stimer; stepchildren, Diane Bellinger and William Beebe.
