SAWDON, Dennis S. - Of Flint, age 67, died Monday, July 27, 2026
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.
Dennis was born in Flint, Michigan on October 9, 1958, the son of the late Robert and Jean (Smith) Sawdon. On January 6, 1993, he married Jeana and she preceded him in death on November 5, 2016. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Bowling Association. He also enjoyed cooking, camping and playing cards.
Surviving are children, Joel and Donna;
grandchildren, Quinten, Sean, and Skyla and great-granddaughter, Fiona;
siblings, Charles (Jennifer) Sawdon, Diana (John) Sparks and Rick (Priscilla) Sawdon.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert.
