HEAD-COLEMAN, Mrs. Beverly - Age 68, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:30 AM Monday, September 20, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Charles E. Roots officiating. 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 21, 2021Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 AM Monday. Mrs. Head-Coleman will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday. Mrs. Beverly Ann Head-Coleman was born April 18, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of Norma Pressley and Charles Oliver. Beverly graduated from Flint Northern High School and received post high school training in nursing, where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Isaac Ray Head in 1973 and from that union 2 daughters were born, Sherida and Jennifer. Beverly later married Ronald Coleman Sr. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church and cooking. Beverly had a very joyful and kind-hearted spirit. She will truly be missed by the many lives she touched. Mrs. Beverly Ann Head-Coleman leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Sherida (Andrew) Aikins of Grand Blanc, MI and Jennifer (Eric) Poole of Swartz Creek, MI; 2 grandchildren, Nadia M. Aikins of Grand Blanc, MI and Erica J. Poole of Swartz Creek, MI; mother, Norma Pressley; 4 sisters, Linda (Richard) Conliffe, Barbara (Apostle Clarence) Lewis, Sandra McDowell and Phyllis Oliver-Latham; 2 brothers, LeRoy (Shirley) Pressley Jr. and Tyrone (LaToya) Pressley; 4 nieces, Tameka Pressley, Elasia Pressley, Temekka (Carl) Straham and Mia McHenry; 6 nephews, Donyale (Trisha) Carroll, Priest (Andrea) Elijah Pressley (special), Sheron (Jon’Tise) Lewis, Ian (Kiara) Johnson and Cameron McHenry; aunt, Irene Castleberry; a host of other great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends including special friends, special nephew, Priest Carroll and the Clements family. Mrs. Head-Coleman was preceded in death by her former husband, Isaac R. Head; husband, Ronald Coleman; father, Charles Oliver; brother, Michael T. Pressley; and nephew, Shawn Carroll Sr.
