Kim Denise Nebus (Thompson), 67, of Burton, Michigan, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3-6pm Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, and 10am Sunday until time of service.
Sharing service will be held at 12pm on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Kim was a vibrant, outgoing woman with a warm heart and an unwavering love for her family. She shared more than 22 beautiful years with her beloved husband, Jerry Nebus. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, cherished memories, and a deep devotion to one another.
Kim had a true passion for the medical field, dedicating more than 40 years of her life to caring for others. Her work was not simply a career—it was a reflection of her compassionate heart and her desire to make a difference in the lives of those around her.
Her greatest pride, however, was her family. Kim was incredibly proud of her daughters, Heather and Ashley, and the women they had become. Her six grandchildren—Henry, Kenneth, Hudson, Nellie, Isley, and Zoey—brought her immeasurable joy. She cherished every moment with them and treasured watching them grow.
Kim will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Jerry; her daughters, Heather (Zach Bahr) and Ashley (Lee Hoggard); and her six beloved grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, devotion, and countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Kim was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marilyn Thompson and Charles Ray Thompson, with whom she shared a very close and loving bond. There is comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with them, together again in a place of peace.
