Anna A. Streeter, 88, of New Windsor, Il. Died Sunday May 29, 2011 at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline, Il. Services are 11:30 AM Thursday at the New Windsor Presbyterian Church. Burial is in the New Windsor Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 AM until time of services Thursday at the Church where memorials may be left to the Tri- County Ambulance Service or New Windsor Presbyterian Church. She was born February 20, 1923 in Reynolds, Il to G.H. and Anna Christie Fassett. She graduated from Reynolds High School and attended Bradley University. On September 27, 1944 she married Neal H. Streeter in Reynolds, Il. He died April 6, 2011.

Anna was a homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of their family farm. She worked briefly at Admiral in Galesburg and the Dietary Department at the Mercer County Nursing home in Aledo.

Anna was a very active member of the New Windsor Presbyterian Church where she was the first Woman Elder Installed and served on the Board of Sessions, the Board of Trustees and the Board of Deacons . She was the Financial Secretary and taught Sunday School at the church for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the New Windsor Telephone Ladies Card Club.

Surviviors include a son, Ronald (Julietta) Streeter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL , a grandson, A.J. (Anna) Streeter of Cambridge, Il a great granddaughter, Savannah of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, 1 sister Marie Dahl and 2 brothers George and Eugene Fassett preceded her in death.
