Kirk, Dennis J. of Flushing, age 72, died Sunday, July 30, 2023, at his home. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Robert Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke New Life Center, Center for Hope, St. Francis Prayer Center or Flushing Christian Outreach Center.
Dennis was born on November 11, 1950, the son of Harold and Arlene (Archer) Kirk. He attended the University of Michigan where he received a degree in Pharmacy. It was also there where he met the love of his life, Luci Glubzinski. They were married on December 29, 1973, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Flint. Dennis owned and operated Family Pharmacy in Flint for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, and hunting, especially bird hunting with his several dogs throughout his years. The greatest joy in his life was his family and his grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Luci; children, Dana and husband Paul Corsello, Ben and wife Aleksandra Kirk; grandchildren, Olivia, Paige, Elias, Owen; sisters, Linda and husband Larry Chinavare, Margie and husband Dave Grosse, Janet and husband Brian Dotson; and best friends since high school, Swinkey and Chick. He was preceded in death by his parents.
