Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, February 19, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Corunna with Pastor Tony Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10am until the time of service.
Age 86 of Corunna, daughter of Major Harry and Fern (Aikman) Lanxton of Flushing, Michigan. Patricia graduated from Flushing High School, class of 1949. She also attended beauty college where she became a beauty operator until her marriage in 1955 to Charles Jones of Corunna. She was married to Charles for 40 years before being preceded by his death in July of 1996. She enjoyed being a homemaker and being a part of the Extension Club of Venice Township homemakers. She and Charles were members of the Shiawassee Agriculture Society for many years as well as being involved with the Shiawassee County Fair. She enjoyed being a chaperone for as well as a member of the Corunna High School Band Boosters. She also volunteered for many years as the pianist at the First Baptist Church of Corunna.
She is survived by her children Cathy (Danny) Milioto of Austin, TX, Shari Jones of Owosso, Charles (Julie) Jones II of Austin, TX; sister Wanda (George) Foust of Gladwin, grandson Anthony Jones of Atlanta, GA. Patricia is also survived by her second husband for the past 18 years, Donald M. Bearup of Corunna and step-children Kathryn, Loren, Erich, Gareth, Caroly and Karl, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County, American Cancer Society or the charity of donors choice.
