Dan Kenneth Thayer Sr. age 66 died April 7, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Monday, April 11, 2016 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint. Family will receive visitors from 12-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Rushton officiating. Dan was an avid bowler, pitched horseshoe's, was an hunter in his younger days and retired from GM in 2008 after 42 years. Dan was a great guy and friends to many. He is survived by his sons; Dan(Thomasena), Alan, Wayne(Cathy), Andy(Lesa)Muir, Aaron(Trina), grandchildren; Erik, Alex, Delain, Kathryn, Stephanie, 3 sisters; Kathy(Steve), Rosemary(Randy), and Chris(Jamie). Dan was preceded in death by his daughter Rhonda Marie Thayer in 1969, brother Edward Thayer Jr. and his parents. |
