DEIBIS, Gerald Theodore – of Davison, MI, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held 11 AM - 7 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home by Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski. Inurnment will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier in Otisville, MI.
Gerald was born in Flint, MI on July 5, 1940, son of late Zahran and Emma (Haddad) Deibis. He married Gloria Jean Fabris on January 19, 1963 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on March 21, 2018. Gerald enjoyed spending time with his family on Sunday afternoon cookouts, playing cards, watching his grandchildren playing sports, old westerns and game shows. He loved the outdoors and taking care of his yard. Gerald was always a very proud parent, grandparent, and had a strong will to survive.
Gerald is survived by his children, Todd (Robin) Deibis, Tim (Jeannie) Deibis, Troy (Mary) Deibis; grandchildren, Hannah (Hunter), Sarah, Ashlyn, Jacob, Abigail, Amelia, Emma (Gabe), Ryan, Kyle, Allison, Rojina; great grandchildren, Zander and Eliyana; son-in-law, Naim (Rasha) Bawardi; sister, Charlotte Czarney; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Zandi and MaryAnn Isaacson; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamara; son, Theodore; siblings, Anthony, Theodore, Elias, Violet, Susan, Jacqueline; in-laws, James (Desoline) Cokley, Fred (Sharon) Fabris, William Zandi and Ron Isaacson; father and mother-in-law, John and Violet Fabris. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Brookdale, Wellbridge and The Care Team Hospice.
