FILBERTH, Harry F. – of Lapeer, age 81, passed away March 19, 2018 at McLaren Flint. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 12 PM Friday, March 23, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Harry was born in Woodlawn, IL on April 29, 1936, son of the late Fred and Ada (Bailey) Filberth. He married Trudy Herrick on January 24, 1976. Harry worked at Country Fresh Dairy, retiring after many years of service in June of 2001. He loved the outdoors and all animals.
Harry is survived by his wife, Trudy; children Mark Filberth and Amy (Kevin) Goff. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas and sister, Mina.
