HALL, Timothy Lester, Sr. – of Flint, MI, age 74, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2500 North Franklin Avenue, Flint, MI 48506; Fr. Matthew Bonk celebrant.
Tim was born in Flint, MI on June 25, 1950, son of the late Brian and Dorothy (Nugent) Hall. He retired from the City of Flint as a dedicated Maintenance Foreman after more than 20 years of committed service. Throughout his career, he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his work ethic and his unwavering dedication to the community. Tim had a passion for bowling, often spending time at the lanes with friends and family, where his competitive spirit and love for the game shone brightly. He and his wife, Janet, shared an adventurous spirit, traveling both around the United States and across the globe. Their journeys were filled with cherished memories, from exploring new places to connecting with the people and cultures they encountered. For 25 years, Tim brought people together through his love of croquet, hosting annual tournaments that became a treasured tradition for all who participated. His warmth, hospitality, and zest for life left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Tim is survived by his wife, Janet Hall; 2 children, Les (Shannon) Hall, Jr. and Larry (Kelly) Hall; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brian and Dorothy Hall; 4 siblings.
