REYES, Neomi - Of Davison, age 90, died Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her children.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday, February 20, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Road, Flint,
Father Thomas Firestone officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Visitation 2-7pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Neomi was born in Uvalde, Texas on September 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Silverio and Galdina (Amaya) Avila. In February 1954, she married Ralph Reyes in Flint. Neomi retired from General Motors in 1987. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, walking, spending time on her back deck and collecting roosters and elephant figurines.
Surviving are children, Darlene and husband Michael Remagen, Arthur and wife Pamela Reyes, Ruben and wife Maria Reyes, Stella and husband Don Handy, Richard and wife Lisa Reyes, Alicia and husband Tim Donnelly, Rafael and wife Angel Reyes and Ray and wife Stephanie Reyes;
22 Grandchildren, Andrea, Katie, Dominic, Alexsis, Ashley, Anthony, Jovanna, Vanessa, Angelo, Brooke, Tiffanie, Brandon, Austin, Taylor, Timmy, Rafael, Maxwell, Ava, Maycen, Gabe, Julian, and Cali;
23 Great-grandchildren, Caydence, Bella, CJ, Maveryk, Sloane, Sawyer, Maite’, Galilea, Katalina, Aiden, Mahryea, Angelina, Ashlyn, Beckham, Madison, Mia, Palmer, Fallon, Emelin, Callahan, Colson, Coen and Kennedy;
And many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
