MINNICK, Maxine – of Clio, age 84, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation.
Maxine was born August 1, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to the late Roy and Dorothy (Adams) Buck. She graduated from Otisville High School in 1952. Maxine married Leroy Minnick in 1982. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2007. She retired from AC Delco in 1984 with 32 years of seniority and was a member of UAW Local #651. Maxine enjoyed sewing, cooking, and canning.
Surviving are: Children: Deborah (Phillip Javor) Blakely and Chris King; Grandchildren: Josh Javor and Amanda Javor; Great grandchildren: Natalie Javor and Aubrey Wallace; Sisters: Bernita Smith, Rosetta Skank, and Laura (Denny) Matheson. She was also preceded in death by: Son, Raymond Blakely; Second husband, Ervin Blakely; Brother, Robert Buck; Brothers-in-law: Lawrence Smith and Dallas Skank.
