Together they raised three children. Throughout her life, if there was a repair needed on their home, she loved tackling it. She was a life member of Eastern Stars, and they attended Kirkridge Presbyterian Church for many years. They traveled, went on long boating excursions, and hosted many gatherings of family, coworkers and friends. Early on, she worked as a switchboard operator at Bell Telephone and later worked at car dealerships where she sold new cars and was at times top salesperson. They co-owned a consulting and sales representative business for the automotive components industry. She loved gardening, decorating, and making wonderful memories with her family.
