PELLETT, Barbara Jane – Of Grand Blanc, age 81, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jim Nelson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek.
Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born on April 2, 1933, the daughter of the late Arlie and Marie (Cruse) Day.
She was a graduate of Flint Tech Class of 1951.
Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek.
She loved to golf and always enjoyed being on the course.
She was a longtime secretary of the Southwestern Ladies League. She loved being around her grandchildren.
Barbara retired from GM Truck & Bus in 1988.
Surviving are companion of 35 years, Wayne Murray.
grandchildren, Melissa and Matthew Pellett, Lauren Murray and Ian Murray;
Wayne’s children, Wayne Jr. (Lisa) Murray, Dale (Rebecca Kilbreath) Murray.
She was preceded in death by son, Timothy Pellett and parents.
