WHITE-WRIGHT, Tina L. – of Lapeer, MI, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. William Jenzten Jr. officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-2 PM and 4-7 PM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home and from 10 AM-12 PM before the service on Saturday, June 10, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Genesee County.
Tina was born in Saginaw, MI on December 26, 1961, daughter of Gary L. Watts and Martha Ann Hoyt. She received her ADN from Mott College in 1986 and her BSN from U of M Flint in 2000. She loved to care for people. Tina specialized in CCU, taught CNAs, and provided home health care. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards and darts. Visiting lighthouses, waterfalls and Lake Michigan were at the top of list of places to visit while appreciating the nature that Michigan has to offer.
Tina loved the Lord. She attended Flint First Church of the Nazarene for several years. Tina loved children and often helped in the children’s ministry and with the choir. Most of all, Tina’s favorite thing to do was spend time with the Fab 5 (her 5 grandchildren).
Tina is survived by 2 children, John (Kristal) White and Stephanie (Joshua) Wright; 5 grandchildren, Kennedy, Raegan, Mason, Lincoln and Jamison; brother, John (Nicola) Yancer; sister, Cyndi (Larry) Wood; many nieces, nephews, special friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Merle and Olive Dickinson, Donald and Liz Watts; parents, Gary Watts and Martha Hoyt and sister, Michelle Watts.
