Gibson, Walter Alden "Bud" - Age 67 of Grand Blanc, died November 12, 2017. Services will be held at 1PM, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Entombment at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St Jude's Children's Hospital or Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bud was born on April 1, 1950 in Grand Rapids to Glen and Joyce (Southerby) Gibson. He served in the United States Army. He and Mary Alice Rodgers were united in marriage in Flint on February 26, 1994 and resided in Grand Blanc. He was a skilled trades employee through AC- Delphi and a member of the UAW 651. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved helping family and friends with projects. Surviving are wife, Mary Alice; two children, Anthony (Sonya) Gibson and Pamela (Jeff) Perkins; grandson, Austin Wolford; two brothers Alden Walter (Carol) Gibson and David (Kay) Gibson.
