PLUMMER, Betty May – of Clio, age 87, died Monday, April 24, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday, April 28, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors on Friday from 11AM until time of services at 3 PM.
Betty was born January 7, 1930 in Oxford, MI to the late Silas and Faith (Slingland) Herns. She was a resident of Flint most of her life moving to Clio for the past 3 years. Betty worked for Bentley Manor for many years. She was a member of the Clio Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed word search, reading and watching soap operas on TV.
Surviving are: 14 children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard on July 3, 1998; sons, Rusty Hearns, Gary Cummings and Tom Marr; 2 brothers and a sister.
