TAMBLING, Edward M. – Of Swartz Creek, age 52, died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at his sister's residence in Lapeer following a courageous 8 month battle with cancer. Per Edward’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held at West Vienna United Methodist Church, 5485 West Wilson Road, Clio, on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. Memorial Service, with Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating.
Edward was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 29, 1962, son of the late Russel and Jaunetia (Eitzen) Tambling.
Mr. Tambling worked as a Supervisor Aircraft Mechanic for various airlines, including American Eagle and Compass, and in a number of locations, including Saginaw, Flint, Chicago, Miami, and Toulouse, France. Ed enjoyed travel, car shows, vintage treasures and spending time with family and friends. He shared a special bond with his son, Blake.
Surviving are son, Blake Edward Tambling;
sweetheart, Leighanne Bermudez; and her four children;
siblings, Connie(Robert Vince)Tambling, Renee’ (William) Provost, Ronda (Mark) Shannon and Rodney (Sue) Tambling;
a niece, four nephews;
and other extended family members and many dear friends.
Special thank you to his aunt, Dorothy Grablick; cousin, Judy Almasy for their spiritual guidance; to his cousin, Bill (Kathy) Foley, fir his valued support and to Heart to Heart Hospice for their care during his final days.
In leiu of flowers, donations may be made toward Blake’s education.
