Warda, Marlene Rose - Age 74, of Flint, passed away September 1, 2025 under the care of hospice. In accordance with Marlene's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be privately laid to rest at Assyrian Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
Marlene was born on November 24, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to the late Isaac J. and Sara (Sayadian) Warda. She graduated from St. Mary High School and then attended University of Michigan before graduating from Baker Junior College. She dedicated her career to the City of Flint, working for both the Police Department and then the Water and Waste Department. Family was important to Marlene and she cherished the time that she spent with them.
Surviving are her siblings, Stephanie Palmer of Dayton, Ohio; Joseph (Sandy) Warda of Birch Run; Teresa (Tom) Mikoy of Rochester Hills. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Annette Weycker.
