GUSTAFSON, Larry Marvin – of Grand Blanc, MI, age 60, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held from 4-8 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Burton V.F.W. Hall, 2260 Belsay Road, Burton, MI 48519. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in Larry’s memory.
Larry was born in Flint, MI on March 21, 1961, son of the late Marvin and Marjorie (Wright) Gustafson. He married Cindy Putnam in Burton, MI on July 12, 1980. Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1983-1995. He was employed with General Motors since 2004. Larry enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family, especially trips Up North.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Gustafson; 3 children, Brooke (Don Harrington) Gustafson, Kyle (Rachel) Gustafson and Brianna (Ryan) Pettey; 5 grandchildren, Donovan Harrington, Keaton Harrington, Colton Harrington, Ellie Harrington and Paisley Pettey; 2 siblings, Pam Cookingham-Gustafson and Paul (Gina) Gustafson; very good friends, Dan Andrews, Don (Lisa) Hunt, Dan (Kelly) Glatter and Rob Mata; many cousins, nieces, nephews, other loving family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Marjorie Gustafson.
