GINTER, Dolores Ann - Of Flint, age 87, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Hyde Park Memory Care in Flushing.
Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Father Gordon Reigle officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 11am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dolores was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 21, 1928. Mrs. Ginter graduated from Central High School in Flint, the class of 1946. She was a lifelong area resident and married Henry Ginter in April of 1947. Dolores was a homemaker who enjoyed word games and crossword puzzles, community theater; she enjoyed all types of music. and flower gardening. She was an avid reader and an animal lover. Her family looked forward to her Christmas cookies every year. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society for many years. Dolores was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Dolores is survived by daughter Linda (Jeffery) Clark, 2 sons; David (Grace) and Thomas Ginter and special friend, Barbara Kihlstrand,
2 grandchildren; Christopher Ginter and Nicole (Jeremy) Urmitz and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ginter is predeceased by her husband, Henry, parents and one brother.
