Mike was born in Flint, MI on October 7, 1967, son of Harry and Marsha (Grantner) Neminski. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1985. After attending Mott Community College, Mike went on to complete his Pipefitter apprenticeship at General Motors Flint Metal Fabrication, where he dedicated 31 years of loyal service before his well-earned retirement. A man of many passions, Mike found joy on the golf course and bowling alley, and he was an avid sports fan — especially when it came to cheering for his beloved Notre Dame football team. He accomplished what he fondly called the “trifecta”: bowling a perfect 300 game, scoring a hole-in-one in golf, and achieving a perfect hand in Cribbage — feats that reflected both his skill and his spirited determination. Beyond his hobbies, Mike’s heart was truly defined by his love for animals and the simple joys of home. He adored his faithful little dog, Rico, and had a tender spot for all creatures great and small — from the neighborhood cats to the turkeys, deer, and other visitors who graced his yard. Mike was a fine son, a loyal brother, a caring neighbor, and a friend to many. His generosity, warmth, and good humor touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he brightened.

Mike is survived by his parents, Harry and Marsha Neminski; 3 brothers, Patrick Neminski, Robert (Susie) Neminski and Joseph (Terina) Neminski; 3 nieces, Tori, Ashley and Abby; 5 nephews, Joseph, Aaron, Ben, Nate and Nick; great-nephew, Asher; great-niece, Lucy; canine companion, Rico; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve and Beverly Grantner.
