Margie Jean Scannell, age 82 of Millington, passed away at Stonegate Health Campus on March 9, 2018. She was born April 2, 1935 in Flint, MI. Margie loved her grandchildren, her home, gardening and doing family treeing. She retired from Delphi / AC Spark Plug in 1991. She is survived by three children, Robert (Sandy) Scannell, Susan (Harold) Vandercook, William (Lynette) Scannell; sister Lois Bedell; brother John Klee; 5 grandchildren, Carolee (Rob) Ehrke, Daniel Scott, Christi Scott, Jeffrey Huntwork, and Amber Gadany; 9 great-grandchildren; her special friends Melba Billsbrough, Erna Reinert and Phyllis Moore.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Marsha Scott; parents Herman & Katherine Klee; 8 brothers, Lester, Donald, Douglas, Herman Jr., Grant, George, Jack & Jim; 3 sisters Ruby, Katherine, & Helen.
Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer, MI. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Millington, 4941 W. Center Street Millington, Michigan 48746. Burial will be in Gunnels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Millington or McLaren Hospice. |
