Rehanek, Frank Joseph - Age 90 of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 6PM - 8PM Thursday, 2PM-8PM Friday and 10AM until time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions Eastern Michigan Food Bank. Frank was born August 1, 1927 in Lennon, Michigan, the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Kucera) Rehanek. He married Patsy L. Walton in Swartz Creek on February 8, 1969. Frank proudly served his country in the army as a corporal during the Korean War. Mr. Rehanek retired from the Swartz Creek Public School as an elementary school principle with 35 years of service. Frank enjoyed woodworking, reading, MSU sports and was a former private pilot. Surviving are: wife of 48 years, Patsy Rehanek of Swartz Creek; daughter, Dorothy (Rob) Berriman of IL; granddaughters, Emily and Ashley of IL and many nieces and nephews.
