Gerow, Carol A. - Age 81, of Flint, made her way home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2025. A Memorial Gathering and Celebration of Carol's Life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507.

Carol was born on August 19, 1944, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Orville Lee and Anna Mae (Peasley) Fenton. She graduated from Linden High School. Carol went on to enjoy a long career as a Medical Records Clerk at Hurley, McLaren and Genesys hospitals.

On February 14th, 1988, Carol met the love of her life, LeRoy Gerow. On July 27, 1990, they got married in Port Huron, Michigan. Together they shared 37 wonderful years filled with fishing, dancing, music, friendships with local bands, trips to the casino, and countless anonymous acts of kindness toward strangers.

Carol cherished adventures with her lifelong & best friend Vicky to include dog sledding and tall ship cruises. She was a fun-loving woman with a heart of gold, living each day with a passion for making those around her feel loved and happy. Carol loved going to church and cherished her relationship with God and Jesus Christ. One of her biggest passions was her family and ability to keep the family bonded together throughout her life.

Carol will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, LeRoy; her children, Dawn Bemman of Brighton; Susan (Russell) Richardson Calhoun of Bristol, IN; Deborah (Garvin) Davis of Fenton; David Gerow of Guatemala; Joel Gerow of Glennie; Greg (Leslie) Lamb of Rio Rancho, NM and Whittney. She leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Kyle Bemman; Kayla (Logan) Pendergrast; Lacey (Aaron) Hipsher; Rebecca (Brandon) Good; Michael (Mikayla) Calhoun; Jessica (Steve Smith) Ferguson; Tyler Ferguson; Derek (Kerry) Gerow; Jake (Brittany ) Gerow; Hunter Gerow; Cole Gerow; and Taylor (Logan McKee) Lamb. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Simon, Emerson, Everett, Bennett, Silas, Henry, Freya, Daxton, Dakota, Davina, Easton, Levi and Colton. Carol is survived by her brothers, Robert (Pat) Fenton of Midland and Daniel (Miriam) Fenton of Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Carol’s memory by paying it forward to a stranger in need. These random acts of kindness would mean the world to her.
