ORR, Retha A. – Of Flint, age 65, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Renee Varner officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Retha was born in Flint, Michigan on September 21, 1950, the daughter of Elighe and Virginia (Jones) Salyers.
On February 14, 1981 she married Roger Orr.
Retha retired from GM Metal Fab and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are husband, Roger;
children, Kimberly and husband George Faris,
Roger and wife Kim Orr,
Alan and wife Bobbi Jo Orr,
Tammy and husband Brian Phillips, all of Pennsylvania;
5 grandchildren;
sisters, Mary Salyers,
Margie and husband Chuck Welch,
Patricia and husband John Ostwald, all of Swartz Creek,
Regina and husband Kenny Beehler of Burton;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Donnie Salyers; sisters, Virginia (Kathy) Hendricks and Sheila Salyers.
