BURTON, Dawn was called home to be with her creator on August 31st, 2020. Services will be private. Dawn is survived by her father Donald Burton; her children Taylor Burton and Brittany Storey; her sister Becky (Brian) Rider; and niece/nephews Amber Burton, Scott Ragan, and Andrew Huey; and her granddaughter Brookelyn Burton—the light of her life. Dawn was well known to adopt strays: people and animals. She loved her dogs Bubba and Beau almost as much as Brookelyn. She was a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a friend, and most importantly a Nonnie. She was kind, caring, and had a heart of gold. She believed in faith, love, and hope. She is preceded in death by her cousin Darryl Burton, her aunt Shelba Proper, and her mother Sandy Burton. She leaves an impact in this world and was so very loved.
