SINGALA, Kanta G., age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away in her home on the evening of Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026.
Kanta was born in Moga, India, to the late Bihari Lal and Karam Devi. Kanta’s youngest brother, Ram Pratab Gupta, is still a resident of Moga, India. She had 3 children: Alka Kumar, Neel Gupta, and Ravinder Singala. Her husband of 41 years, Tarsem Singala, passed away in August 2014.
Kanta was a wonderful person, mother, grandmother, and caring friend to many who knew her. She always wanted to love and nurture others. She did this by being a nurse, a teacher, and an entrepreneur.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road in Flint on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Viewing will be from 12 PM to 2 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, followed by services from 2 PM to 4 PM.
